Registration features
With PHP Pro Ads, registration can be completely disabled, optional or mandatory, depending on the profile of your site.
If registration is disabled, users can list ads by simply clicking on the "List Ad" button from the site's header. For unregistered postings, the lister will need to enter his contact information when creating the ad. Ad setup fees can be applied in this case, however no sale fees will be applicable since no sale will be made through the sale.
Unregistered posting is available for Standard Ads, Trade Ads and Wanted Ads.
For Profile Ads, registration needs to be enabled and set as mandatory.
In case registration is enabled, the following features are available:
Signup Credit
If you choose to run the account mode option you can offer new
users free credit on their accounts.
Customise registration process
Via the admin area you can customise the registration process by adding your own custom fields, for example you can use this feature to collect additional user data when registering such as address, company details, etc.
Seller verification
For additional user security you can enable the seller verification feature, this forces users to pay a validation fee before they can list items for sale. Once the fee is paid the user is free to sell items on your site, a verification seal is also displayed next to the users profile to signify their status to other users.
E-Mail or Admin activation
Users must activate their account via email before selling or buying.
You can also choose to approve all new users via the admin
area before they are able to use the site.
Simple Registration Form
Only basic information is required on the registration page like username, password and a valid email address. Any additional fields can be added using the custom registration fields feature.
Automatically generated pin
The automatically and random pin number ensures the registration
page is being filled in by a live person and not a third party
